Tamil producer Mano Akkineni passed away two days ago. Director Sudha Kongara Prasad shared throwback pictures to pay tribute to him.

Tamil film producer Mano Akkineni died two days ago in Chennai. He worked in three Tamil films, including Ajith Kumar’s Kiridam, Madhavan’s 13B and director Sudha Kongara Prasad’s debut film Drohi, starring Vishnu Vishal and Srikanth. Director Sudha shared throwback pictures to pay tribute to her friend.
Sudha Kongara Prasad, who directed Soorarai Pottru and Sarfirashared an old picture of himself with Salman Khan and Mano Akkineni. This photo was taken at Salman Khan’s Panvel farmhouse in 2008.
Sudha wrote, “My first producer and my best friend. RIP Mano Akkineni. And may you shine among the stars above as you did when you shone on this earth. I will miss you dearly. You have always been my Saw the first cut and they were my first audience.”
She further said that she is dedicating her ongoing film to Mano Akkineni. “This film that I am doing today, I dedicate to you Mano, because I know that as one of the biggest lovers of cinema, cinema and more cinema, you will be watching my every move. Two crazy fan girls – 2008, Panvel (sic),” he wrote.
