Taapsee expresses happiness as Indian hockey team reaches Olympic semi-finals: We won
Taapsee Pannu and her husband Mathias Boe celebrated as the Indian men’s hockey team reached the semi-finals in Paris. An elated Taapsee also praised goalkeeper PR Sreejesh.

Taapsee Pannu and her husband Mathias Boe are in Paris with Taapsee’s sister. They watched the Indian men’s hockey team enter the semi-finals, where they defeated Great Britain 4-2. Speaking to India Today, Taapsee cheered for Team India and praised goalkeeper PR Sreejesh.
Talking to us, an excited Taapsee said, “we won (we won).”

Talking about the match, an excited Taapsee said, “We got a red card in the first quarter and we were wondering how India would win, but, being able to hold Great Britain… I thought we had won. Thank God, Sreejesh is a hero for saving those goals. I am very happy. I am coming back tonight and I will go home very happy.”
When we pointed out that India had also performed well at the Tokyo Olympics and won the bronze medal, Taapsee said, “Iss baar rang bhi badlega, I hope so!”
When we asked Mathias Boe which team he was supporting, Taapsee laughed and said, “Do you have a choice?” He admitted that this was the first hockey match he attended and he also congratulated Team India for the win.
