Thalapathy Vijay is all set to hit the big screens this year with his film The Greatest of All Time, which is scheduled to release on September 5, 2024. Now, it looks like the synopsis of the film has also been revealed, which is quite interesting.
According to a recent report by Let’s Cinema, the Vijay-starrer is about the shadow of an unknown past resurfacing. This destabilises a special anti-terrorism squad and shakes their confidence as many buried secrets come to light.
From the synopsis, it seems like it is a blockbuster action thriller starring Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role. The making of the film is already unique, with the makers even choosing to use de-ageing technology.
Speaking of The Goat, the team has recently released the third single from the film Spark, which is available to stream in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions. Composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the song features him singing in two languages, while Kunaal Ganjawala sings in Hindi.
Despite all three versions of the song gaining prominence, the makers faced criticism for portraying Vijay’s character in his younger form.
The Greatest of All Time or The Goat is a science-fiction action movie which is set to hit the big screens in September. The film stars Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role and Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Ajmal Ameer, Mohan, Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chowdhary, Vaibhav, Yogi Babu and many others in important roles.
Moreover, the film has already released a short glimpse of the film, which was released on the occasion of the actor’s birthday in June. The clip shows the actor in two different roles, one older than the other, as they engage in a race sequence.
Apart from this, the actor is likely to be next seen in the tentatively titled Thalapathy 69, which is expected to be his last film before stepping into full-time politics. The film is rumoured to be directed by H Vinoth and also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead role.
