Speaking on the incident in an interview with Connect Cine, Swara Bhaskar said, “Any sensible person will say that whatever happened to Kangana was wrong. There is no one who justifies the violence or assault on Kangana. So yes, what happened to her was wrong and should not have happened. It is not right to attack anyone. People were telling Kangana’s right-wing supporters that they should not speak about this because they are the people who justify lynching.”
He added, “Kangana was just slapped – and that shouldn’t have happened either – but at least she is alive, and she has security around her.
