Sussanne Khan remembers her ‘god’ Zarine Khan in touching post: You won our hearts
Sussanne Khan and Farah Khan Ali paid tribute to their mother Zarine Khan, who passed away in Mumbai, with heartfelt messages and memories. The actor was 81 and passed away due to age-related complications.

Interior designer and entrepreneur Sussanne Khan paid an emotional tribute to her mother Zareen Khan, who passed away in Mumbai on November 7 due to age-related ailments at the age of 81. Veteran actor Sanjay Khan’s wife Zareen is remembered by her family and friends as a woman of immense grace, strength and warmth.
On Saturday, Sussanne posted an emotional video on social media sitting in her mother’s lap, in which she called Zareen her “soul twin”. In his note, he wrote, “Whatever I am today is because of this amazing woman. She is my God, my mother and my life.”
In a long message, Sussanne expressed her deep love and gratitude, writing, “My best friend, my God, my life – our beautiful mommy, you will always be our guiding light. You taught us to live life your way, with grace and love. We love you beyond love, beyond life. Until we meet again and laugh and dance together – you took all our hearts with you.”

Her sister, jewelery designer Farah Khan Ali, also remembered her mother by sharing a video of Zareen singing ‘Aaj Jaane Ki Zid Na Karo’. “My mother, my soulmate, the woman who touched so many lives with her love, warmth and sparkle – you will be missed because no one can ever be like you,” Farah wrote. She said she will carry forward her mother’s legacy by keeping the family united.

Zarine is survived by her husband Sanjay Khan and children Sussanne, Zayed, Simone Arora and Farah. His funeral was held in Mumbai, attended by close family and friends. Sanjay Khan and Zayed performed the rituals while their daughters stood by them during the ceremony.
Several members of the film fraternity, including Rani Mukherjee, Kajol, Shabana Azmi, Kareena Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Bobby Deol visited the Khan residence to express their condolences. Veteran actresses Hema Malini and Saira Banu also paid tribute to Zareen, remembering her kindness and beauty. During this time, Sussanne Khan’s ex-husband Hrithik Roshan was present with the family.
