Sushmita Sen and Rohman Shawl dated for a few years before parting ways in 2021. However, they continue to hang out together and share a close bond. Rohman recently revealed how the actress’ heart attack in 2023 affected him. He revealed that this left him ‘shocked’ and he was attacked for some reason.
Recently, in an interview given to Hindustan Times, Rohman Shawl was asked how Sushmita Sen’s heart attack affected him. In response, he shared, “When something like that happens, the first thing is you go numb because you don’t know what happened to you.”
However, he added that it also depends on how the person suffering from the condition takes it. Rohman told that Sushmita took it very well and she did not even realize that something shocking had happened.
The model-actor revealed that he started taking his health seriously after the incident. He said that he started getting himself and his loved ones checked regularly.
During the same conversation, Rohman Shawl was asked if this incident has made his bond with Sushmita’s daughters stronger as they supported the actress together. He replied, “It’s all give and take, because she has been a source of strength for all of us. Obviously, the kids are always there, and mujhe bhi jitna banta hai, main kar data hoon (I do as much as I can).”
Rohman described Renee and Alissa as ‘amazing’ and revealed that he was ‘lucky’ to be able to see such a bond. He said that these relationships help in becoming a better person.
In December 2021, Sushmita Sen had announced her breakup with Rohman on Instagram. She posted a cute selfie with them and wrote in the caption, “We started as friends, we will stay friends!! The relationship had ended long ago…the love is still there!! #No more speculations #Live and let live #Lovely memories #Gratitude #Love #Friendship.
Rohman Shawl recently made his film debut with Amaran. The Tamil action film was released in theaters on October 31, 2024. His performance as the antagonist has received much praise.
Meanwhile, Sushmita Sen was last seen in the series Arya 3, which released earlier this year.
