Actress Sushmita Sen recently revealed how her daughters, Renee and Alisah, react to her marriage plans. She said that while Renee has a completely different perspective, Alisah is more sensible in her approach. The actress also revealed that her children do not need a father.

During a recent podcast, when actress Rhea Chakraborty asked Sushmita what her daughters think about her dating life, she replied, “If I tell my elder daughter, ‘Do you think I should marry this guy?’, she says, ‘No, absolutely not. What is the need to get married? Not this person, not that person, not any person. Don’t get married; why? You are so cool.'”

However, Sushmita said, Alisha told her, “I think you have always lived your life on your own terms, so if you feel it is your condition now, then go for it. If you don’t feel it is your condition, then stick to it, why do you want to get married?” The actor added, “So, they are very settled in their ways.”

Sushmita, who has been a single mother to her daughters, also said that His children do not feel the absence of their father.

The ‘Aarya’ actor said, “I think fathers are important and crucial in the sense that there is a balance of masculine and feminine in them. But my kids never had a father so they don’t miss one. They wanted to go for sports day, their mothers came and beat up the fathers because the fathers were too distracted and some of them were even being pity when they lost.”

She further added, “Fathers are beautiful when they can fulfill their role. But I don’t want to give my children a father figure; I want them to have a father figure. I have always treated my children like adults.”
