Bollywood actor and Miss Universe 1994, Sushmita Sen, recently opened her time while overseeing the Miss India Universe Franchise between 2010 and 2012, a period when Miss Universe organization was owned by US President Donald Trump. Speaking during the promotion of his web series ‘Ion’, he shared insight into unexpected opportunities and complications that come with it.

US President Donald Trump owned the Miss Universe organization from 1996 to 2015. Before entering politics, he was widely known as a businessman and television personality. He became the 45th President of the United States in 2017 and returned to the post as the 47th President in January 2025 after losing the 2020 election.

Sen made history as the first Indian woman to win the Miss Universe Crown in 1994, an achievement that brought her national pride and began a successful career in modeling and acting.

After taking a break from acting, he made a strong comeback with acclaimed roles in the web series ‘Ion’ and the biographical drama ‘Tali’, where he portrayed transgender activist Srigauri Sawant.
