Suriya is all set to present his much-awaited film Kanguva, which is scheduled to release on October 10, 2024. As the actor is currently shooting for his next film, tentatively called Suriya 44, in Andaman, it seems the team has recently wrapped up the song shoot with Pooja Hegde as the co-lead.
According to a recent report by Vikatan, the team of Surya 44 has completed the shooting of two songs with Surya and Pooja. Apart from this, the report also claims that the team has also filmed some action-packed portions in the Andaman region.

The team of Suriya 44 is apparently planning some extremely exciting action sequences for the film. The team began its first schedule in Andaman some time back, where Suriya was spotted at the airport upon his arrival.
Moreover, it is also reported that stunt coordinator Kecha Khamphakdi was highly impressed with Suriya’s commitment towards the action sequences in the film. The much-anticipated film directed by Karthik Subbaraj had released a sneak peek of the film some time back, giving a glimpse of the filming starting.
Apart from Pooja Hegde, the film also features actors like Jayaram, Karunakaran and Joju George in key roles, while Santhosh Narayanan has taken care of the music track and score. The film also marks the first collaboration between Suriya and the director.
Surya’s field of work
Suriya will now be seen in the much-awaited fantasy film Kanguva directed by Siva. Touted to be one of the costliest films in Tamil cinema, the film sees the Jai Bhim actor playing a warrior king.
Apart from the lead actors, the film also features Bobby Deol and Disha Patani, who are making their debut in Tamil cinema. Besides, the film also features an additional ensemble cast of actors like Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra in pivotal roles.
Apart from this, the actor is also playing a cameo role in the Akshay Kumar starrer Bollywood film Sarfira, directed by Sudha Kongara.
