The film, which has been deployed as a new beginning for DC Universe under Gunn and Peter Safran, earned Rs 9.25 crore in India on its second day.
At the end of this week, Superman has not only led the recent Hollywood release like ‘F1’ and ‘Jurassic World: Riberth’, but is also closing in India for a total of Rs 16.25 crore in a total of Rs 16.25 crore by Saturday.
Despite facing competition from Bollywood films like Rajkumar Rao’s ‘Malik’, Brad Pitt’s ‘F1: The Movie’ and Aamir Khan’s ‘Sitare Zameen Paar’, ‘Superman’ achieved 32.50 percent of the occupation rate in English screening on Saturday.
