Actress Sunny Leone reacted after a man in Chhattisgarh registered his name as a beneficiary under a government scheme to provide Rs 1,000 per month to economically weaker married women. Condemning the act, Sunny described the incident as “unfortunate” and said that she would support the authorities in investigating the matter.
Sunny wrote on her Instagram story, “It is unfortunate to know about the incident of fraud in Chhattisgarh, where my identity/name has been misused. A scheme meant to empower and benefit women has been misused in this way. And it’s sad to be misrepresented.” ,
She added, “I strongly condemn this act and fully support the authorities in their efforts to thoroughly investigate and resolve this matter.”
