Actor Sunny Kaushal, who was seen in the Netflix film ‘Phir Aai Haseen Dilruba’, praised his brother Vicky Kaushal’s performance in ‘Sam Bahadur’. He spoke exclusively to IndiaToday.in about healthy competition and shared his love for his work.

Sunny Kaushal comes from a household where his brother Vicky Kaushal and sister-in-law Katrina Kaif are superstars. In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, he revealed how he views Vicky’s work. He said, “When I saw Vicky in ‘Sam Bahadur’ I was amazed. He was amazing in the film. It lit a fire inside me that made me think I want to do something similar. It will definitely be very difficult for me to do it but it will definitely give me that kick and that feeling of being inspired is what I completely get from being an actor.”

He also added, “If I look at it as a brother, I feel proud that he did such a good job. But the actor in me was definitely inspired and pushed myself to give such a performance.”

Sunny also spoke to us about how he deals with comparisons and competition. He said, “Healthy competition always helps. The way I see it, whether it is me, Vicky or our other contemporaries, we are all part of a community which is entertainment. We work for the people and whatever we are doing, we love doing it.”

The actor further added, “Loving acting as a profession is my biggest motivation. Healthy competition is always good for all professions as it is how you know how to improve yourself and grow in the industry you are involved in.”
