Actor Sunny Deol is allegedly set to cooperate with Excel Entertainment for a large -scale action thriller. This will mark the first cooperation between Deol and the production house under the leadership of Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. Allegedly, Deol loved the script and is interacting with the production house for some time. ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’ is excited about the actor film, which is expected to go on the floor in December 2025.
According to Vikas’s close sources, “Deol has been set to form a team with Excel Entertainment for the first time on a big budget action thriller. So far, untritated action thriller actor and the first colleague between actor and Excel entertainment and is excited to interact with a high-bad-badgate. Siddhwani is excited to talk with a high-bad-badgate.”
The source further said that the film will mark the beginning of Balaji’s direction. He has worked on several Tamil blockbasters as an assistant and associate director.
“It is a big-to-life feature film with Deol in an avatar that the audience has preferred to watch it. Excel, too, is going out to ensure that his first collaboration with Dole is a special treatment for cinema-boiling audiences. The film will have many acute and high-inguinal moments,” the formula said.
Apart from this project, Deol has two more film projects. He is set to appear in the much awaited film ‘Border 2’. The battle drama has been slated for release on 3 January 2026. It also stars Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanj, and Ahaan Shetty in the lead roles.
Sunny Deol will also act in ‘Ramayana: Part 1’, in which he will play the role of Lord Hanuman. The film is scheduled for a Diwali 2026 release.
