Sunny Deol is set to make her Netflix debut with an action thriller directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, adapted to the 2007 film ‘Death Dana’. The project, written by Supern Verma, begins filming in July 2025 and mark a major addition to upcoming release dolls.

Actor Sunny Deol is ready for his debut on Netflix with an action-pack feature film. This will mark a new milestone in their four -decade long career.
According to a recent report PinkvillaThe film ‘WeR Family’ so far will be directed by filmmaker Siddharth P Malhotra and is slapped to go on the floor in July 2025.
The project is allegedly adapted to the 2007 Hollywood thriller ‘Death Decoration’, starring Kevin Beckon, and will be re-prepared for the Indian audience by writer-director Supern Verma. While earlier reports suggested that Verma would also produce the film, he is now confirmed as the script writer. The film will especially premiere on Netflix and is expected to be released in 2026.
A source close to the development shared with the entertainment portal, “Sunny Deol is making her Netflix debut with an action-pack feature film, and that the same will be directed by Siddharth P Malhotra. The film is based on the ‘death sentence’ led by 2007 Kevin Bacon and has been adapted in Hindi by Supern Varma.
The source also confirmed that Deol has allocated bulk shooting dates for the film and a “huge amount” is being paid to lead the actors. The source said, “Sunny has allocated wholesale dates for shooting and a heavy amount is being paid to make the feature film spearhead.”
Currently, Sunny Deol is raising several high-profile projects. “Sunny will be shooting for ‘Border 2’ by the end of June, after which she expects to fulfill her prior commitments of ‘Lahore: 1947’. She then switchs gear for a small program of ‘Ramayana’ with Nitesh Tiwari, where she plays part of Hanuman,” informs the source.
After completing these pre -busyness, Deol Netflix will begin work on the origin. “He is interacting for many other films, scheduled to shut down at the end of this year. And of course, the writing phase is ‘Gadar 3’. Sunny Deol is on a role,” the source is the conclusion.
Deol was last seen in ‘Jat’, directed by Gopichand Malinani, who performed marginally at the box office. The sequel to ‘Jat’ is also in development and is expected to start production in 2026.
