On November 22, 2024, Nazim and Basil Joseph starrer Sukashmadarishini released theaters. The mystery thriller Flique, directed by Mac Jithin, returned to the actress’s Malayalam cinema after a short gap and a hit, both were both critical and comparring.
The film is currently available for streaming on the OTT platform jiohotstar, and if you are still thinking about its end, there is an interpreter here that you need to check.
What about Sukashmadarishini?
Sukashamadarshini has the story of Priyadarshanini alias Priya (Nazri Nazim Fahd), a housewife who lives in a near-woven suburban neighborhood with her husband and daughter.
The film begins with damage to Priya’s car, kills her bumper, which makes her question who was responsible. Coming into her daily life, Priyadarshini is your average woman who is looking for a job.
As she is known for her sleeve skills, Priyadarshini’s life takes an interesting turn when manual (played by Tulsi Joseph) and her mother, Grace, enter her suburban neighborhood.
Manual and Grace were old residents in the neighborhood, who went out a few years ago, running a bakery store in the city in the east. From the very beginning, manual displayed an aspect of positivity, hiding his real intentions within him.
While everyone is influenced by him, Priya considers him a shady person who is working hard to bury a mystery. At the same time, it is revealed that manual, his uncle Roy and cousin Dr. John seems to have planned to commit a big crime inside the average house.
In addition, manual’s mother, Grace, is said to be suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and is unaware of the events inside the house.
Meanwhile, Priya and her husband decide to host a party due to their wedding anniversary. At the party, the manual house caught fire, his mother goes missing.
As Grace disappears, her daughter Diana also returns home, only to return to New Zealand due to lack of progress in the investigation.
The events and time sowed a seed of doubt within Priyadarshini, only one night to see grace. However, no one believes in him. As she is fed up with a stressful situation, Priya decided to use her sleel skills to highlight the mystery.
How is the secret to Priyadarshan?
After being convinced to see Grace, Priyadarshan informed his friends in the neighborhood, banding together to resolve the crime.
On several accounts, Priya is caught by manual, accused of harassing her, while working with her mother’s disappearance. However, the real twist comes when Grace returns to her home, yet it is unable to speak about what happened to her.
In a final attempt, Priyadarshini tries to interact with grace, only once again to be interrupted by manual. There is still doubt about everything, Priya Grace’s daughter reaches Diana.
What happened to grace, and how did Priyadarshini know the truth?
As Priyadarshanani tries to collect information inside the manual house from Diana, Dr. John tried to use medical utensils to do something nefarious.
Suddenly, Diana stopped responding to her texts, causing Priya to snow on the previous social media handle. Soon, it turns out that Diana is a gay, leading a life with a Tamil woman, Aditi Thyogarajan, with which she intended to adopt a child in New Zealand.
Priya is engaged in a conversation with Aditi, only to find out that she is in India looking for Diana, and manual offered to receive her at the airport.
Priyadarshan comes to know that his doubt was correct, but the true hunting was not grace but Diana. As manual tries to kidnap and kill Aditi, Priya discovered her location and saved her.
Taking us back through the events, it turns out that Grace was a true criminal, and he is not suffering from Alzheimer’s. Disappointed that his daughter is a gay, he, her brother, and her son decides to end the life of Diana, which believes that grace has disappeared.
Then it turns out that the manual was a misleading Priya, text it as Diana. The film ends with all those who are arrested, leaving all of them, leaving Priyadarshini and shocked the core.
In a final Callback moment, it is shown that Priya’s car, which was killed by the manual, was performed by manual, which refers to crossing a thematic relationship of her life.
