From SU, the Kannada-language horror comedy drama film, on 25 July, 2025, hit Big Screen. After its dramatic run, the film has been slated to reach a streaming platform soon. Here are details about its digital debut.

SOs from SO have been officially confirmed to release the OTT platform Geohotstar and will start streaming from 9 September 2025. The platform shared the update as part of its upcoming release catalog on the app.

SO from SU discovered Ashoka’s story, a young man who is a crush on Sulochan, a soul that he has. As a series of comedic supernatural events in their village, the villagers should band together to get rid of the ghosts once and for all.
The film forms a balance between the subjects of comedy and social drama, which emphasizes the rumors, superstitions and influences of personal history on the life of the characters.
SU recently became the highest -grossing venture in Kannada cinema for 2025 and got positive reviews from critics. The film is also credited with bringing back the large crowd in theaters after blockbusters like KGF, Kantara and 777 Charlie.
After its Kannada release, the film was dubbed in Malayalam and hit on screen in Kerala on 1 August 2025, after Dalkar Salman was distributed by Vafar Films. It was also a commercial success.
SO to cast and crew
SU has included SU from SU Shanell Gautham, JP Theanad, Sandhya Arkare, Prakash Thuminade, Deepak Rai Panje, Mime Ramdas, Raj B. Shetty, Pushparaj Boller, Mamtha Shetty and actors in many more important roles.
Written and directed by JP Theuminad, the film has been produced under the banner of Lighter Buddha films lighted by Raj B. Shetty, Shashistha Shetty Baroda and Ravi Rai Kalasa.
The music tracks of the film were composed by Sumade, while the background score was prepared by Sushin Shyam’s colleague Sandeep Thulsidas. S Chandrasekaran handled the cinematography, and Nithin Shetty served as the editor.
Looking forward, Raj B. Shetty will appear in the upcoming film 45 along with Shiv Rajkumar and Upendra Rao. He is also part of the artists in the monkey, directed by Bobby Deol acting and Anurag Kashyap.
