US President Joe Biden lost his train of thought during a recent White House address and spoke gibberish into the camera for several moments.
The incident occurred at an event marking the 12th anniversary of the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and was widely shared on social media, rekindling concerns about the 81-year-old Democrat’s mental acuity as he campaigns for a second term.
Republican social media accounts and conservative media outlets have circulated multiple videos purportedly showing Biden either walking alone or with others.
In one clip, Biden is seen wandering away from other world leaders during a skydiving demonstration at the G7 summit in Italy.
Another widely circulated clip shows Biden standing motionless for a few seconds on stage at a fundraiser before being escorted away by former President Barack Obama.
