Actress Anya Singh, who played Bittu’s girlfriend Chitti in the recently released film, recently answered the million dollar question of whether she will be a part of Stree 3 starring Shraddha and Rajkummar.
In a new interview with Zoom, Anya Singh spoke about the success of Stree 2, her favourite scene, and the upcoming film Stree 3. Anya was asked if the audience will be able to see her saving Chitti in Stree 2 in the future. The actress shared that she hopes her character will be a part of Stree 3.
The Stree 2 actress also spoke about bagging Stree 2 and how the film gives a strong message to the audience. Talking about its success, Anya shared that she doesn’t want to take credit for it as it is “her film”.
The Kho Gaye Hum Kahan actress said that she feels very lucky to be a part of Stree 2. Calling it a “huge film”, Anya admitted that she thoroughly enjoyed the horror comedy as an audience.
Anya highlighted that Stree 2 gives a “strong message”, while she cited the scene where Stree kills Sarkata. The young actress explained that this scene correctly showcased Stree as a powerful character.
The actress also discussed a scene after Sarakata’s death and the locked up women come out and perform a puja in red saris. She found the scene “powerful” as it “says a lot without saying anything”. Anya further added that Stree 2 is a “fun” film as it has an interesting story and a great message for the audience.
Talking about the work front, Anya Singh played her first leading role in Kaidi Band in 2017. In this, Anya was paired with Aadar Jain. In 2023, the actress starred in the film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan starring Ananya Pandey, Adarsh ​​​​Gaurav and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Anya has also appeared in series like Kaun Banegi Shikharvati, Never Kiss Your Best Friend and Jee Karda.
