Stree 2: Shraddha Kapoor says she was scared to see her scary avatar in the film; ‘When something happens to my face…’

Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s film Stree 2 is currently doing great at the box office. The horror comedy has managed to tickle the audience as well as scare them with some artistic scenes. Talking about the film, Kapoor also revealed that she does not watch horror films. The actress also admitted to being scared of her character in Amar Kaushik’s film.

During an interview with The Lallantop, Shraddha Kapoor was asked about her favorite horror film. To this, she replied that she does not watch horror films, but does horror comedies like Stree 2. Along with this, she also said that if she ever gets a good script, she would like to be a part of that film.

Further, in the same interview, the Tu Jhoothi ​​Main Makka actress revealed that in her recently released film, she gets scared when something happens to her character’s face. She showed how she watches herself on the big screen with her ears and face half covered. She said, “I am very scared of horror films.” Having said that, she also revealed that the 2018 American horror film Hereditary is one horror film that gave her goosebumps.

Sharing more details about the blockbuster hit film that is currently running in the theatres, Kapoor also spoke about hearing about real-life spooky incidents. She said that though she herself has not experienced any kind of paranormal activity, she has heard several scary stories. Sharing an incident from her childhood, Shraddha Kapoor revealed that she along with her friends in the colony had made up a story that a house in the complex is haunted.

However, they said that even though they made up this story, when they actually went inside the house, they saw everything in pieces. Apart from this, they also found many beautiful little dolls everywhere. That’s when they got scared thinking that there might actually be ghosts in the house.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in key roles. Written by Niren Bhatt, the film is a sequel to the 2018 film Stree.
