Stree 2 director Amar Kaushik names Shraddha Kapoor in the film; ‘Whatever his name is…’

Amar Kaushik entered the field of film production in 2018 with Stree. The horror-comedy was loved so much that they made its sequel Stree 2, which released this year. While the highest-grossing films of the year have become the talk of the town, the audience is also curious to know the original name of Shraddha Kapoor’s character in the franchise. Well, the director has revealed about the many theories going on regarding the name of the lead actress.

Those who have seen Stree 2 will remember the closing scene in which Shraddha Kapoor’s character whispers her name into Vicky’s ear. Seeing Rajkummar Rao’s reaction, it came to the conclusion that it was not something very impressive and pleasant. Soon, several theories surfaced online about the possible name of the female character. Putting all this to rest, director Amar Kaushik talked about this during a conversation with the YouTube channel named Men of Culture.

The filmmaker said in Hindi, “The name is a big mystery. I think you guys will have to wait for a long time for that. (His name is a big mystery. I think everyone will have to wait for it to be revealed.) Kaushik further said that the entire team also discussed this many times. Going back in time, he recalled how he was able to get a genuine reaction from Rao and how Kapoor whispered a name in his ear.

He said that during the shooting of the film, he had told Shraddha a name which she had to whisper in her co-star’s ear. While Rajkummar Rao was unaware, the Stree 2 producer asked the Tu Jhoothi ​​Main Makkar actress to say a specific name. Hence, that video of Vicky Vidya gets the right response from the actor. Some theories also say that Shraddha’s character’s name could be Munni, linking it to Amar’s horror-comedy film Munjya, starring Sharvari and Abhay Verma. But Amar did not accept this argument and said that if this continues then the film will be short.
