‘Stree 2’ box office on Day 9: Rajkummar-Shraddha starrer crosses Rs 300 crore mark in India
Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s film ‘Stree 2’ has crossed the Rs 300 crore mark in India within nine days of its release. The film is directed by Amar Kaushik.

Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s film ‘Stree 2’ is doing great at the box office. After a successful week in theatres, the film has crossed the Rs 300 crore mark in India. The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee.
‘Stree 2’ grossed Rs 51.8 crore. At the domestic box office, the horror-comedy earned Rs 308 crore (including Wednesday’s paid previews) by the end of the 8th day. On the 9th day, the film earned Rs 19.30 crore. The total earnings of ‘Stree 2’ now stand at Rs 327 crore (net). Worldwide, the film earned Rs 456 crore.

India Today.in in its review of Stree 2 gave the film a rating of 3.5/5. An excerpt from our review reads: “Rajkummar is in fine form and his comic timing is effortless. Shraddha brings the perfect blend of mystery and intrigue as Stree. Aparshakti and Abhishek Banerjee’s characters are well defined and contribute significantly to the overall plot. Pankaj Tripathi has the most whistle-worthy dialogues and delivers a solid performance.”
‘Stree 2’ released on August 15 and clashed with ‘Veda’ and ‘Khel Khel Mein’ at the box office. The film is directed by Amar Kaushik.
