Stree 2 box office on day 24: Shraddha-Rajkumar’s film earns around Rs 520 crore
Amar Kaushik’s horror-comedy, Stree 2 continues its upward momentum as it has grossed nearly Rs 520 crore domestically after running for less than a month in theatres.
Horror-comedy Stree 2 continues to dominate the box office. It has earned Rs 8.50 crore on the 24th day of its release, inching closer to the Rs 520 crore mark. Its current domestic total stands at Rs 516.25 crore, reports Sakanilka.
The current worldwide collection of Stree 2 is Rs 737.25 crore. Its occupancy on September 7 was 24.27 percent.
However, the production company Maddock recently released the box office figures and claimed that the film earned Rs 526.43 crore in India in 22 days. If reports are to be believed, Stree 2 is now aiming to cross the Rs 750 crore mark and it may do so as there is no competition.
Stree 2 registered a good occupancy of 24.27 percent on the fourth Saturday after its release.
The film is continuously breaking records. This horror-comedy is also the highest grossing film of both Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s career.
Apart from the lead cast, Stree 2 also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in pivotal roles. Tamannaah Bhatia, Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar appear in cameo roles in the film.
