On the other hand, Ajanta Pharma Ltd. (down 0.76 percent), Netco Pharma Ltd. (0.72 percent), JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (0.7 percent), Biocon Ltd. (down 0.64 percent) and Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (down 0.29 percent) Ended up as the top loser of the day.
The Nifty Pharma index closed up 0.74 percent at 23412.25.
The benchmark NSE Nifty50 index closed down 0.11 points at 23644.8, while the BSE Sensex shed 109.12 points at 78139.01.
