(down 1.96%) were among the day’s top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index rose 187.85 points to close at 24800.85, while the 30-share BSE Sensex gained 626.91 points to close at 81343.46.
LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 3.5%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 3.29%), Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 2.81%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 2.6%), Wipro Ltd.(up 2.42%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. (up 2.38%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (up 2.28%), Shriram Finance Ltd. (1.92%), Infosys Ltd. (1.86%) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (up 1.86%) Nifty Was among the top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Asian Paints Ltd. (down 1.45%), Coal India Ltd. (down 1.41%), Hero Motocorp Ltd. (down 1.37%), Grasim Industries Ltd. (down 1.26%), Bajaj Auto Ltd. (down 0.95%) down), NTPC Ltd. (down 0.71%), Adani Enterprises Ltd. (down 0.55%), Tata Steel Ltd. (down 0.43%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (0.36%) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.
