At the pre-of-relief event for Junior, SS Rajamouli said, “Genelia, you are frozen in time, man. What have you been … how many years have passed, yet you look exactly the same. I also asked cinematographer Senthil whether we will see a new generation in it, and they assured that we are waiting for it.”
In her response, the prepared actress said, “You are very kind, sir. I mean a lot to me.”

Junior is an upcoming family action drama starring Kiriti in the lead role. The film tells the story of a hearty discovery of the life of a young boy, which defines his bond with his father.
With Sreeleela as a female lead, the film has a dress artist, including V. Ravichandran, Genelia Deshmukh, and many more. The upcoming film is given by Radhakrishna Reddy, in which Goddess Shri Prasad handles the music track and background score.
SS Rajamouli’s next film
Director SS Rajamouli is currently working on his next film, titled SSMB29. The upcoming Flick is Mahesh Babu and is considered a globotrotting adventure film.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas will be the female head in the Magnum Opus Flick, with Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran Khaleja play an important role with the actor. Apart from this, reports also show that R. in the film. Madhavan will be included in a supporting role.
Earlier, Pinkvilla had specially stated that the film would be released as the same film, as contrary to the initial idea of the two-part cinematic venture. While full actors have been unveiled so far, the film is expected to continue shooting in 2026 and a grand release in 2027.
