SS Rajamouli praises Prabhas in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’: Darling has done wonders
SS Rajamouli shared his thoughts on social media about the recently released film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. He praised the making of the film, the cast and crew, and also highlighted the performances of Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Deepika Padukone.
SS Rajamouli reviewed the recently released film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ on social media and praised the cast and crew of the film. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film released today i.e. on June 27 and features a stellar cast led by Prabhas.
Rajamouli, who is also a good friend of Prabhas, wrote on X, “Loved the world-building of #Kalki2898AD… it transported me to different realms with its incredible settings. Darling killed it with his timing and spontaneity… (sic).”
Praising the rest of the cast, director and the production house, he said, “I got great support from Amitabh ji, Kamal sir and Deepika. The last 30 minutes of the film took me to a completely new world. Congratulations to the entire team of Nagi and Vaijayanti for their unmatched efforts in making this film.”
‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is a dystopian film that takes place in the city of Kashi, thousands of years after the Mahabharata War.
The world is ruled by the supreme Yaskin (Kamal Haasan). The poor people suffer in the city while the rich enjoy their lives in the Complex, a place built for the privileged. Bhairava (Prabhas) dreams of making a place in the Complex.
Apart from Prabhas, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Saswata Chatterjee, Disha Patani and others.
The film is currently running in cinemas worldwide.
