SS Rajamouli on Friday announced the release date of his next big film Varanasi. The director shared this news on social media. Varanasi, starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Mahesh Babu, has been locked for release on April 7, 2027, as next year’s big Ram Navami film. Announcing the film’s release date, he captioned his post on X: “7th April, 2027 #Varanasi.”
Earlier, various reports had suggested that the film was likely to Release in theaters on 9th April2027, coinciding with Ram Navami. However, Rajamouli’s announcement clearly states that the film will hit the screens on Wednesday, April 7 next year as a big Ugadi release.
