Shah Rukh Khan, who is dubbing for the Hindi version of Mufasa: The Lion, talked about son Abram’s debut as a voice artist in the film. Proud father Shahrukh said that Abram has worked very hard to perfect the Hindi pronunciation of his lines for the film.

In a new promo, Shahrukh Khan missed dubbing for the Hindi version The Incredibles with son Aryan Khan. He said, “Dubbing for The Incredibles was more difficult than dubbing for Mufasa: The Lion King. However, the similarity was in the patience that both boys showed while working on the film.”

Shahrukh, Aryan and Abram – all three are part of Disney’s Mufasa. Shahrukh said, “He prepared very well, learned Hindi lines.”

Talking about working with Aryan and Abram and almost the entire Khan family being a part of the film, the superstar said, “The only difference would be that people spoke more Hindi since Aryan was a kid. Now, times have changed. People are more interested in speaking English. But I am glad that AbRam has worked really hard, which he learned with the help of his sister (Suhana Khan).

He said, “For me, it is a great memory to have Aryan and AbRam with me in a film, forever, on a record.”

In another promo, Shahrukh talks about losing his parents at an early age. He said, “If I wasn’t polite and said, ‘my story is also like this‘ (My story is also similar) so it can fit in it. Technically speaking, someone who does not have parents is an orphan. I lost my parents almost young, so I’m semi-orphaned. This is an outsider’s story. None of my family has been in the film production business. I came to Mumbai from Delhi, so I am also an outsider. This is the story of the king. So, yes, I’m a king (laughs).”

He further added, “When you see the story of how he became Mufasa, the king, it’s very interesting. It’s a story about sacrifice, friendship, loyalty. When I was dubbing the film I realized That’s how wonderful it is.” The character (Mufasa) is this.”

Directed by Barry Jenkins, Mufasa: The Lion King will release on December 20 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
