The famous heroine of yesteryears, Sridevi became the most popular name in the industry after starting her acting career at the age of four. Today the world remembers her. Her daughter and actress Khushi Kapoor also misses her beloved mother. So she shared a childhood picture of herself with her sister Janhvi Kapoor on her Instagram story.
The Archies actress shared a framed picture from her home. The picture is enough to take anyone down memory lane, featuring both the Kapoor sisters with their mother. While Khushi Kapoor looked cute in her short pixie hair, Mili actress Janhvi Kapoor decided to have some fun while the picture was being clicked. The Bawal actress continued to make funny faces and it turned out to be a great memory of hers with her mother.

As the clock struck 12 and the date changed, Sridevi’s husband, actor-producer Boney Kapoor also shared an edited picture of his wife on social media. This picture of the actress is possibly from her 2012 comedy-drama film, English Vinglish. Sharing a picture of his lovely wife, he wrote, “Happy Birthday my jaan.”

Soon after, Murder Mubarak actor Sanjay Kapoor, who is Boney’s brother and Sridevi’s brother-in-law, took to the comments section to shower love on her post. He was joined by several other users who remembered the Mr India actress on her birth anniversary.
One user wrote, “Dear Sridevi wishing you a very happy birthday,” while another wrote, “Happy birthday Maa miss you so much.” A third commented, “She will always be the best,” while a fourth said, “Tribute to India’s first female superstar.” “Happy birthday Hawa Hawai we miss you,” wrote another.
In an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, Janhvi Kapoor revealed her desire to become a great actress. The Dhadak actress told us, “I think it’s just because I want to grow. I want to be a good actress. I want to be at the top of my field. I want to impress the audience with my acting and films, make them laugh, cry.”
She further shared how her mother Sridevi inspired her to connect with the audience. She said, “From a very young age, I saw the impact of my mother’s work on people.” She further said that she once asked her mother why everyone was crazy about her even though she was not a doctor, soldier, politician or any such job that people could connect with her emotionally.
To this, the actress later replied, “Yes, I am making them feel like I understand them, maybe escaping their lives and showing them what bigger-than-life emotions are like. I am making them laugh, entertaining them, making them dance.” It was then that Janhvi realised that there is a connection that is irreplaceable and hence, she too wants to connect with people like her mother. “That is the aspiration,” the Ulj actress added.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Janhvi is all set to make her Telugu debut with Devraa: Part 1 opposite NT Rama Rao Jr and Saif Ali Khan, followed by Sunny opposite Tulsi Kumari of Sanskari. On the work front, Khushi will be seen in her upcoming film Nadaniyaan.
