SRF shares 2.97% as Sensex rises

Shares of SRF Ltd. traded up 2.97 percent in Thursday’s session at 11:46 am (IST). Share Rs. 2492.20 and during the session so far closed at Rs. 2568.00 and Rs. It touched an intra-day high and low of 2492.20.

Share Rs. A 52-week high of 2697.45 and a 52-week low of 2088.55 were quoted. About 3,163 shares have changed hands on the counter so far.

The benchmark Nifty50 rose 91.71 points to 23304.9, while the BSE Sensex traded up 278.8 points to 77002.88 at the time of writing.

In the Nifty Pack, 31 stocks were in the green zone while 19 stocks were in the red zone throughout the day.

    For the quarter ended 30-Sep-2024, the company reported Rs. 3457.6300 crore in consolidated sales, up from the previous quarter’s Rs. 3489.3800 crore by 0.91 percent and was 7.83 percent over the year-ago quarter. In the latest quarter, the company posted Rs. 201.42 crores in net income.

    Promoter Holdings
    Promoters held 50.26 per cent stake in the company as on 30-Sep-2024, while FIIs held 18.3 per cent and MFs 9.8 per cent.

    Technicals
    On the technical chart, the stock’s 200-day moving average (DMA) on January 16 was Rs. 2399.25, while the 50-DMA was Rs. was at 2307.87. If a stock trades above the 50-DMA and 200-DMA, it usually means that the immediate trend is up. On the other hand, if the stock trades well below both the 50-DMA and 200-DMA, it is considered a bearish trend and if it trades between these averages, it indicates that the stock could go either way.
