Bhagwant Kesari actress Sreeleela is only 24 years old. However, she has been a model of goodwill for her fans around the world. After adopting three children at such a young age, she stands behind them in support of them and has just begun to open up about her decision to do so. Speaking to Galata Plus, he explained how the whole experience was for him. The young star of South cinema shared how she takes care of disabled children during her busy schedule.
Breaking her silence for the first time since revealing the faces of her three children to the world, the actress shared, “When I talk about it, I am at a loss for words and I get nervous. But it has been noticed.” Clarifying her role in his life, she further added, “I’m not a mother mother because that’s a completely different story.”
The Dhamaka star revealed how the decision to take care of the kids came about, sharing director AP Arjun’s indirect involvement in doing so. “This was the film I did at the beginning of my career in Kannada, after which my director decided to take me to an ashram. The children live there. We talk on the phone, and I keep meeting them there. It was a secret for a very long time.”
She said it was an awareness effort on behalf of the actress and the institute for her followers. “The organization wanted me to talk about it so more people would be encouraged. I don’t want to be credited with anything, but I want people to start looking in that direction.”
About Srileela’s adoption
It is reported that the actress adopted two children at the young age of 21 in February 2022. Named Guru and Shobhita, they are both disabled and do not live with the actress herself. Later in April 2025, Sreeleela once again sought out the organization to take care of another girl, adding them to her group and making it three. She had shared her decision with an emotional post on her Instagram account and introduced the kids to her fans.
