K-pop group Seventeen released the title of their upcoming album ‘Spill the Feels’, hinting at an emotional journey of overcoming helplessness. The album is set to release on October 14.

K-pop group Seventeen revealed the mysterious title of their upcoming album today, September 16. They shared a short teaser clip that features an anagram where the phrase ‘I Felt Helpless’ turns into ‘Spill The Feels,’ which hints at an emotional and introspective theme of overcoming helplessness by embracing vulnerability and letting out honest emotions. This signals another album that continues Seventeen’s long-standing mission of spreading positivity and hope through their music.

Prior to the title reveal, a teaser released on September 13 had sparked much speculation among fans, as the jumbled letters of “I Felt Helpless” were shown on a billboard at the end of a dark, creepy subway station scene, leaving its meaning shrouded in mystery.

The boy band also released a series of concept photos in between the teasers, showing the members submerged in water and with their eyes closed, creating a sense of helplessness and loneliness. Other photos show the members looking into the camera, with deep, meaningful expressions on their faces that reflect a sense of peace.
Pre-orders for Spill the Feels began on 13 September. The official release will be released on October 14th at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST)
The announcement of their 12th mini album comes after the group’s history-making performance as the first K-pop headliners at Lollapalooza Berlin. Seventeen will soon hit the stage again with their (Right Here) World Tour, which kicks off in Korea on October 12 and continues in the US, Japan, and across Asia.
