Veteran actress Saira Banu, 80, has given an update on her health after battling pneumonia and blood clots in her calves. He told that his condition has improved a lot and his focus is on recovery.

Speaking to India Today Digital, Saira said, “I have improved a lot. The clots have dissolved. I have to keep myself fit and undergo physiotherapy. I am recovering very well and am fine now.”

The legendary actor faced significant health challenges, including limited mobility, earlier this year. However, his team assured that his health has improved significantly and he is on the road to recovery.

“She is fine now. All the above things have happened before, but she is much better now,” Banu’s PR told India Today Digital.

Saira Banu is known for her iconic roles in classic films like Padosan and Junglee. She married renowned actor Dilip Kumar in 1966, and the couple shared a deeply devoted bond until his demise in 2021. Since then, she has largely stayed away from public life.
