Sony Xperia 1 VII is here, and it looks too much like its predecessor. It comes in two new colors, so it is easy to describe it differently – Moss Green and Orchid Purple.
Sony kept the blueprint unchanged – Xperia 1 VII has a 6.5 -inch display diagonal, a 5,000mAh battery and a triple camera system at the back, but it is still bringing significant improvement.
The main shooter and continuous optical zoom are the same as before – you get a 24 mm F/1.9 wide angle camera with 1/1.35 -inch ex -censor, OIS and PDAF. The telephoto has an 85 mm-170 mm f/2.3-f3.5 lens with a small 1/3.5-inch examore RS Emager. The zoom still has telemacro capabilities – you get a minimum focus of 4 cm at 120 mm.
What is new this year, it is an ultravide camera – it is still a 16 mm lens, but a bright f/2.0 aperture (vs. f/2.2) and 1/1.56 -inch exams sensor – 2.1x is 2.1x larger than the previous one.
The camera system has a healthy help of AI-Infused Alpha Smarts-the real-time eye of Soni is for both humans and animals, AI main themes are recognition, AI White Balance, AI Exposure and AI depth. Ultra HDR support is also there, so your images will pop on any supported HDR screen. Sony has also placed a physical to-stage camera button, but it is sometimes wider and more comfortable this year.
A new, big ultravide angle sensor
On the subject of what is kept this year, Xperia 1 VII has a 3.5 mm audio jack. It now uses a high-quality mix with additional gold, which reduces the transmission loss well. Inside, the phone has a premium-grade audio integrated circuit, as before.
There is also a built-in microSD card slot, which means that you can greatly expand the 256GB built-in storage of the phone.
The phone IP68 is water and dust tight, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and GG Victus at the back.
Xperia 1 VII has the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite SOC that helps to keep it cool with a vapor room. It is added to 12GB RAM. Xperia 1 VI also has Wi-Fi 7 and double from the Bluetooth transmission throopoot.
The display is a 10-bit 6.5-inch 1080x2340px bravia 120Hz OLED panel-the back is almost identical to the panel on the back Xperia 1, although it is a 20% bright.
Sony has integrated two Elluminus sensors (one on the front, one on the back), which helps in the exact glow adjustment. There is also automatic color adjustment in separate lighting, which increases both brightness and saturation in strong light.
The front-facing full-stage stereo speakers have 10% rich bass and mid-bus and were tuned in collaboration with Sony Music Entertainment.
Xperia 1 VII retains the 5,000mAh battery with 30W charging, none of which are at all ground these days. However, Sony says that you can expect endurance from the power pack 2 all day, including 36 hours of continuous video playback.
Sony has a set of batteries – security features – Xperia adaptive charging and battery care – which ensure that you have a 4 -year battery health. Sony says that its battery will lose less than 20% of its capacity after 48 months of use.
Finally, Xperia 1 VII with Android 15 out of the box and sony updates at least 4 OS versions, and pledges 6 years of safety reforms.
Sony Xperia 1 VII comes in three colors – slate black, moss green, and orchid purple – and in a single 12/256 GB configuration. It will start shipping in June, priced at € 1,499.
