Sony launches Bravia Projector 7 and Projector 9, the theater system 6 and bar also brings 6 soundbar
Sony has launched Bravia Projector 7 and Projector 9 in India with Bravia Theater System 6 and Bar 6 Soundbar. These new equipment are aimed at users who are looking for a home entertainment system with 4K launch and immersive audio setup.

Sony is expanding its Bravia lineup with the launch of four new home entertainment products: with Bravia Projector 7 and Bravia Projector 9, Bravia Theater System 6 and Bravia Theater Bar 6. The new launch is part of the company’s plans to expand new projector and sound system options for users that are looking at the larger Screen.
Bravia projector 7 and 9 specifications
In its projector lineup, Sony has launched Bravia Projector 7 and Projector 9. Both projector are powered by Sony’s XR processor that offer users 4K cinematic view experiences. These projector support four image enhancement features – XR dynamic tone mapping (to accommodate the brightness frame by frame), XR deep black (for dark scenes), XR trillumino pro (for extensive color breeding), and XR Clear Image (for Opes Clear Image).
The Bravia Projector 9 produces 3,400 lumen, while the projector 7 provides 2,200 lumen, both use a laser light source. Both models support 4K at 120fps with 12ms input legs and HDMI 2.1 support. These features are also aimed at users who want to create a gaming setup.
Meanwhile, Projector 9 also includes a live color enhancing to improve the image in bright rooms. These additional projectors include the projector 7 also includes corner kestone improvement, lens shift and aspect ratio scaling, allowing users to switch between 2.35: 1 and 16: 9 content without physical adjustment.
Theater system 6 and bar 6 specifications
Along with the projector, Sony has introduced two new sound systems. The Bravia Theater System provides a 5.1-channel setup with 6 1000W output and wireless rear speakers, while Bravia Theater Bar 6 is a 3.1.2-channel soundbar consisting of a simulated overhead sound and upfering speakers for a wireless subworm.
Both Soundbar Dolby Atmos and DTS support the X, and include vertical surround engines and S-Forate Pro Front Surround Technology to create a sound effect without roof-mounted or rear speakers. They also come with Voice Zoom 3, which uses AI to adjust the amount of dialogue in real time.
System 6 Soundbar also includes a multi-stereo mode, which, according to the company, may repeat stereo audio in more channels, while both models offer night mode and voice mode to listen to low-orbit or communication-centered hearing. They can be controlled through the Bravia Connect app, or integrated directly with Sangat Bravia TV using the same remote.
India pricing and availability
The new Bravia Projector 7 and Projector 9 will be available through Sony’s authorized distributors starting from July 15, 2025.
-The Bravia Projector 7 (VPL-XW5100s) is priced at Rs 6,50,000.
-The Bravia Projector 9 (VPL-XW8100s) is priced at Rs 17,00,000.
Both projector units come with a 3 -year warranty, and 3 years or 5,000 hours on the laser light source.
Meanwhile, the sound system will be available to buy retail and online stores.
– Bravia Theater Bar 6 is priced at Rs 39,990 and is available for purchasing from July 1, 2025.
– Bravia Theater System 6 is priced at Rs 49,990 and will be available for purchasing from July 3, 2025.
