Sony has launched its second generation Alt Power Sound Line-up. The new range includes Alt Tower 9, Ult Tower 9AC, ULT Field 5, ULT Field 3 and Ultmic1 wireless dual microphone. According to the brand, the new version of the ultra devices is designed to give deep, powerful bass through signature ultimate button and multiple sound modes, providing an immersive audio experience equally for music lovers and partygowners.

Sony Alt Power Sound Series Price and Availability

Sony has launched a new Alt Tower 9 in India for Rs 84,990, while the Alt Tower 9AC is priced at Rs 69,990. Both models are available for purchase from today, August 12, 2025.

The Alt Field 5 is priced at Rs 24,990 and comes in white and black options. The Alt Field 3 is priced at Rs 17,990 and is available in One Gray, Off White and Black. Ultmic1 is priced at Rs 14,990 and comes in black. Both field models and microphones are now on sale.

As part of the launch offer, Sony is leaving its wireless mike, priced at Rs 19,990, which is free with the purchase of Alt Tower 9 or Ult Tower 9AC.

Sony Alt Tower 9 and Tower 9AC features

Sony has introduced the new Alt Tower 9 and Ult Tower 9ac for users who are looking for big speakers who offer high-volume, immersive audio for home entertainment and parties.

Both speakers have ult power sound with two bass mode: ULT1 and ULT2, 360 party sounds and 360 party lights. Both models support karaoke through a microphone input, allow guitar connectivity, and offer a TV sound booster function.

For battery life, Ult Tower provides up to 25 hours of playback and quick charging. Ult Tower 9ac, meanwhile, provides the same features but in a plug-end-play format.

Additionally, a water-resistant top panel in the Alt Tower 9 series, a built-in handle for portability and wheels, a built-in power bank for charging devices and a sound field optimization, adjusts the audio according to the surrounding environment. Both models also support party connect, which leads to a connection of 100 compatible speakers.

Sony Alt Field 5 Facilities

Ult Field 5 is a portable Bluetooth speaker designed for outdoor use. It has an ultimate power sound for deep bass output and has an IP67 rating, making it resistant to water, dust, jerk and even saltwater. The speaker offers a battery life of up to 25 hours, comes with a multi-way strap, and includes a 10-band custom equalizer for individual sound settings.

The ULT Field 5 also supports multi-device connection for easy switching between two devices and facilities for sound area adaptation for clear playback in noise environment. Like the tower model, it supports party connect to connect multiple speakers and can be controlled through Sony’s sound connect app.

Sony Alt Field 3 features

The ULT field 3 provides uniform feature that is set for ULT field 5 but in a small size. According to Sony, the Alt Field 3 provides punch bass with 3 Alt Power Sound, provides battery life up to 24 hours, and is also rated for water and dust resistance. The speaker includes a multi-way strap, a custom equipment, multi-device connection, sound field optimization and party connect support, as well as compatibility with Sony’s sound connect app.

Sony Ultmic1 features

This year is a new addition for Ult Line-Up Ultmic1 wireless microphone. Mike is designed for use with the ultimate party speaker. According to the company, the mike provides clear tone with minimal background noise. This includes a couple aid facility that automatically balances the volume when using two microphones. The microphone offers up to 20 hours of use, supports USB charging, and facilitates quick charging that provides only 120 minutes of use from 10 minutes of charge. It may be associated with compatible speakers through a plug-end-play dongle.
