Sonu Sood says he was offered Chief Minister’s post: I am not interested in politics
Actor Sonu Sood recently revealed that he was offered the post of Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister, which he rejected. He also expressed his views regarding entry into politics.

Actor Sonu Sood shared that he rejected offers for the post of Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister. He explained that he preferred to stay away from politics, fearing that it might limit his freedom to help people.

When asked if he would ever join politics, Sonu said, “I was offered the post of Chief Minister. When I refused, they asked me to become the Deputy Chief Minister. These were very big people of the country , who also gave me a seat.” Rajya Sabha. He told me to take it up and said that there is no need to fight for anything in politics, it is an exciting phase when such powerful people want to meet you and encourage you to bring change in the world.
When the interviewer told that the people of the country want him to join politics more than the people in power, Sonu Sood expressed his reluctance. He shared that he prefers to stay away from politics because he fears losing his “freedom” to help others. He said that being accountable to someone could limit his ability to help independently as he does now.
Sonu said, “When you start becoming popular in life, we start rising higher in life and at higher altitudes there is less oxygen, so it is important to know how much breath one can take. So people get into politics for two reasons. Come: one to earn money and the other.” As for power, and I have no obsession with any of them, if it’s about helping people, I’m already doing that.”
