Actor and producer Sonu Sood reacted on the reports on Friday that an arrest warrant was issued against him in the case of fraud of Rs 10 lakh. Sood shared a statement about the same on his X handle and called the report “highly sensational”, claiming that “celebs become soft goals.”

Sood also wrote that strict action will be taken against those who broadcast such news.

“We need to clarify that the news that rotates on social media platforms is highly sensational. To keep the cases straight, we were called by the Honorable Court in a case related to a third party, with no connection or affiliation, ”the actor wrote in an X post.

Sood said, “Our lawyers have responded, and on 10 February 2025, we will make a statement that explains our non-informality in this case. We are neither a brand ambassador nor we are connected in any way. It is only for unnecessary media meditation.

The actor clarified that after stating that a Ludhiana court had issued an arrest warrant against him in a fraud case. According to reports, Sood was called to testify in a case, but failed to turn to proceed, after which a warrant was issued.
