Sonu Nigam’s song was removed from the film Kannada after releasing his comment for his comment
Kannada film, ‘Kuldali Kelwoodo’ song from singer Sonu Nigam, has been removed after his controversial comments at his Bengaluru concert. Although he apologized for his remarks, action was taken against him.

Playback singer Sonu Nigam is facing anger of the Kannada film industry, as his Bangalore concert has repeated repeated requests to fans in the Pahgam attack. Even after apologizing, his song from the upcoming Kannada film, ‘Kuldali Kollywood’ has been removed. The makers of the film confirmed the news through a press note.
The statement of the makers of ‘Kuldali Kollywood’ said, “There is no doubt that Sonu Nigam is a good singer. But, we are very upset that he recently talked about Kannada in a concert. We can not tolerate insults. Sonu Nigam has done Kannada, so we have rebuilt the song.”
Sonu Nigam sang the song ‘Mansu incident’ for the film directed by K Ramnarayan. The song produced a buzz, composed by Manamurthy and written by Yograj Bhat.
Now, the manufacturers have removed the song and planted the Kannada singer to record the song. In addition, the film’s producer, Santosh Kumar, announced his decision not to cooperate with Sonu Nigam for his future projects.
At the Bengaluru concert, Sonu Nigam repeatedly closed the requests of a student to sing in Kannada and allegedly linked it to the Pahalgam terror attack. He found the person’s voice rude and said, “I started singing Kannada before being born. That is why the Pahgam attack took place … for such an attitude. At least see who is in front of you before making such a demand.”
Later, the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) directed everyone to stop professional busyness with Sonu Nigam.
After justifying his comments, he apologized to Karnataka, “My love for you are bigger than my ego (SIC).”

During the concert, Sonu Nigam said that people like four-five goons threatened him to sing Kannada after completing his first song. In his statement, he defended himself, saying that he had a list with Kannada songs for an hour. However, he was threatened by young boys.

In a statement, he said that he is not a young child to take insult. Later, when the KFCC stopped him, he apologized.
An FIR was lodged against him to connect the incident with the initiative attack. The Karnataka police issued a notice to Nigam and asked him to appear for questioning. Action will be taken against the concert after verification of the clip by Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL).
