Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor is set to return to the screen early next year with what will be her first project after the birth of her son Vayu. The actress has confirmed that she will soon begin shooting for a project streaming on a global platform.
Expressing her excitement, Sonam Kapoor said in a statement, “I am very excited to face the camera again after my pregnancy. I love being an actor and I love playing many interesting characters through my profession. Human beings fascinate me and I love playing different kinds of roles. I am eagerly waiting for my next film.”
Though the actress remained tight-lipped about the specific details, she did hint at the project’s significance. “I will be back on the sets early next year. The details of the project are still being finalised, so I won’t be able to speak in detail until it’s announced. It’s a big project. That’s all I can say right now.”
Sonam Kapoor has been away from films since the birth of her son Vayu, who recently turned two on August 20.
Sonam Kapoor was last seen in ‘Blind’ alongside Purab Kohli and Vinay Pathak. Before that, she was seen doing a cameo in Vikramaditya Motwane’s ‘AK vs AK’.
