Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal shared new pictures from their wedding reception on Instagram. The couple got married on June 23 in Mumbai. The actress looked stunning in a red silk saree at the reception held at a restaurant in Mumbai.

Along with the pictures, the actor expressed his gratitude towards his friends and family and thanked them for their support. “What a day it was!!!! The love, the laughter, the togetherness, the excitement, the warmth, the support from each of our friends, family and team- it felt like the universe came together for two loving people and gave them exactly what they had always hoped, wished and prayed for. If this isn’t divine intervention, we don’t know what is. We are both truly blessed to have each other, and so much love protecting us (sic),” he wrote.

In the photo, Sonakshi is seen wearing a red raw mango silk saree, while Zaheer looks handsome in a white kurta and pyjama.

The couple’s reception was attended by several stars including Salman Khan, Vidya Balan, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Rekha and others, who came to congratulate the couple and celebrate their union.
