Amidst the discussion about working hours in Bollywood, especially after the Deepika Padukone line, actor Sonakshi Sinha shared her views on the idea of a lot of consideration of eight -hour work shift. Sinha mentioned what fairness is really visible on the set.
In a special conversation with indiatoday.in, Sonakshi Sinha supported Padukone’s move for a structured working day, the actor said, “I am all for it.”

Drawing from personal experience, he said, “I have worked with actors who do not work for more than eight hours. Therefore, I don’t see why it should be different for women actors.”
The 38 -year -old actor admitted that every project has its own requirements, and flexibility is important. “It also depends on the project and the requirements of all. You can schedule it in a way where you adjust the hours. There are a lot of other things to shoot with other people, which you can finish at the same time. I think it is very worth receiving,” he said.
After spending more than a decade in the industry, the actor emphasized the importance of professional commitments as well as personal welfare.
“I have been working for 15 years, and there are other actors who have done less than me, it’s more longer than me. But like, you need time along with shooting.”
Citing the need to maintain fitness as an example, he explained, “Today, if I am doing a film where I need to be very fit, I need two hours to go to the gym. Well, if you keep me on the set for 12 to 14 hours, I will not be able to do it.
However, he clarified that he is not harsh about it. “If I don’t have to do this, I will give you 12 hours of joy. I will give you 10 hours of joy. But where it is not needed, I am sure that adjustment can be made.”
