Sonakshi Sinha said that after marriage there is no pressure on her to cook.
Sonakshi Sinha said that there is no pressure on her to cook after her marriage to Zaheer Iqbal. The actress also shared her views on the expectations of modern women.

Actress Sonakshi Sinha, who married her longtime boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal on June 23, said she has no pressure to cook. The Heeramandi star attended an event with Zaheer on September 12, where she talked about her cooking preferences and her favourite recipes.
Newlywed Sonakshi believes she is “lucky” that she has no pressure to cook. Instead, she cooks when she feels like it.
Sonakshi said in the program, “In today’s time, there is no pressure on women to cook because everyone knows that women have their work life and home life too. This is also an interesting thing. I am really lucky that there is no pressure on me to cook. Even if I want to cook, I will do it because I want to do it.”
Sonakshi also cooked food in this program. paranthas (roasted gram flour roti) while Zaheer made avocado sushi.

The actor said, “This is the first time I have actually tried cooking something and it is in front of so many people. I was under a lot of pressure, but I think I did quite well. I enjoyed it. I would like to learn a lot more (cooking) in the future.”
“The happiest person today would be my mother. She is a fantastic cook. She thought her daughter would become a good chef, which never happened. She thought I would become a good chef when I got married. She is still waiting (for that to happen),” she added.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal had a civil wedding in June 2024. Later that evening, they hosted a grand reception for their select friends from the industry at Bastian.
