Sonakshi Sinha: Zaheer Iqbal is the reason I am succeeding in life | Exclusive
In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Sonakshi Sinha credited her husband Zaheer Iqbal for her successful personal and professional life. They got married on June 23.

Sonakshi Sinha, who tied the knot on June 23, spoke to India Today.in about Zaheer Iqbal. She credited her husband for her success in work and life. She also spoke on the disadvantages of being a public personality. Sonakshi had an eventful 2024 with the success of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi’ and ‘Kakuda’.
During the promotions of ‘Kakuda’, Sonakshi Sinha spoke to India Today.in about her husband Zaheer Iqbal and her marriage. She said, “It is for sure that Zaheer adds a lot to my life. That is why I married him. Zaheer is someone who has been a huge support system in my life through my ups and downs. He is the main reason why I am able to thrive at work because when I go back home, I am happy there too and it reflects in my work. I would say everyone should get a love like Zaheer in their life that helps them move forward. He is the reason I am thriving in life. I believe I am constantly growing and evolving both personally and professionally.
She also added, “Our partnership is built in a way that we both support each other and lead a happy life. I am someone who truly believes that no matter what happens, one should never bring work back home. I leave the stress of my work behind and come back to Zaheer, where I am completely present and disconnected from my work. Being an actor is my job, but it is not my entire life, and I want to keep it that way. I believe in having a personal and work-life balance.”

Sonakshi also spoke to us about being a public figure, which often comes with constant scrutiny. To this, Sona said, “I don’t think it’s a sacrifice in itself, but honestly, it’s something you know when you’re becoming an actor; it’s something you sign up for. I don’t know if I’d call it a sacrifice because it comes with the territory. But once you become an actor, you give up your privacy. It’s a bit intrusive, but I understand because these are people who like you and want to know everything about you, but I’m generally a very reserved person. I think being in the public eye constantly is a sacrifice.”
Talking about work, Sonakshi has not yet announced her next project.
