Sonakshi Sinha has hit back at Mukesh Khanna for his comments regarding her upbringing.
Actress Sonakshi Sinha has criticized veteran actor Mukesh Khanna for his ‘disgusting’ comment about her upbringing when he did not answer a question about Ramayana several years ago. She repeatedly chided him for his disrespect and asked him to move on.
Actress Sonakshi Sinha has slammed veteran actor Mukesh Khanna after he repeatedly attacks her on her parenting. In her previous appearance on Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) in 2019, she failed to answer a question about Lord Hanuman. Mukesh had recently accused his father Shatrughan Sinha of not teaching him about Ramayana. In a lengthy post on Instagram Stories, he ‘respectfully’ asked her to stop and forget the incident.
In his post he wrote, “Dear Sir, Mukesh Khanna Yes…I have recently read a statement from you saying that it is my father’s fault that I did not answer correctly a question about Ramayana in a show many years ago.”
He told that there were two more women on the hot seat who failed to answer the question, but they are being selected again and again. “But, you have continued to take my name and only my name, for reasons that are quite obvious. Yes, I may have, that day, ignored a human instinct and forgotten that Sanjeevani Booti is for Was brought.”
Sonakshi reminded Mukesh Khanna of the lessons taught by Lord Ram. “Apparently, you have also forgotten some of the lessons of forgive and forget given by Lord Ram himself… If Lord Ram can forgive Manthara, if he can forgive Kaikeyi… if he You can even forgive Ravana after the great war, surely you can let this very small thing go in comparison…not that I need your forgiveness,” her post read.
The actor then insisted that Mukesh should stop raising the incident again. “I want you to forget about being in the news again at the expense of me and my family and stop raising the same incidents again and again,” she said while calling him.
He ended his note, saying, “The next time you decide to say anything about the values my father instilled in me…please remember that it is because of those values that I only said what I did.” That said, very respectfully, after you’ve made some unpleasant statements about my parenting, I wish you well.”
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Mukesh Khanna commented on Sonakshi Sinha’s omission, saying, “People were upset that Sonakshi didn’t know this, but I would say it’s not her fault – it’s her father. Why don’t they teach this to their children? If I were powerful today, I would sit and teach them about Indian culture and Sanatan Dharma.
In 2019, Sonakshi Sinha appeared in Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 11. He took a lifeline to answer the question about Ramayana and trolled mercilessly On X (then Twitter).
