Soha Ali Khan is ready for the release of her upcoming film Chaudhary 2, with Nasharat Bharucha, as a terrible opponent in a story that revolves around superstitions around the birth of a girl. Now, Soha, as a mother in Inaya, was feeling worried about raising a daughter. He said that the whole of India did not go in the 21st century.
In a chat with NEWS18, Soha Ali Khan opened up about the never -ending concerns coming with parenting, especially as a mother for a girl. She shared, “You are constantly worried. Is she sleeping very little? Is she sleeping too much? I am worried anyway and if you are a mother for a child, you are more worried.”
Chaudhary 2 actress also shared a constant struggle to find a balance to protect without smoothing, while fear of the world’s unexpected threats, especially in social media time.
Soha talked about the difficulties of raising a girl in India, and said that being a woman here can be dangerous at every stage of life. He shared that a lot depends on family, region and mentality. He said, “The whole of India is not in the 21st century.”
She also shared that she comes from a relatively protected background and working on Chhorii 2 was not a decision run by her social message.
Soha Ali Khan also talked about how working on Chaudhary 2 allowed him to detect disgruntled realities beyond his safe world. She reflects the idea that circumstances often shape a person’s darkness, sharing that evil rarely, but the result of experience. He jokingly said that his co-stars may disagree to disagree because he has come among the people born in this way.
Chhorii 2 is set to premiere on prime video on April 11, 2025. Directed by Vishal Furia, the film is supported by T-series, abundant entertainment, psych and Tamarisk Lane Productions. It stars Nusharat Bharucha, Soha Ali Khan, Gash Kashmir Mahajani, Saurabh Goyal, Pallavi Ajay, Kuldeep Saren and Hardika Sharma in the lead roles.
