The official trailer for the film Small Things Like These, starring Oscar winner Cillian Murphy, Emily Watson, Michelle Fairley and Eileen Walsh, was released on September 17.
Directed by Tim Millents, best known for Peaky Blinders season three, the film is based on Claire Keegan’s best-selling novel of the same name.
Murphy plays Bill Furlong, a devoted father and coal merchant who grapples with his past while uncovering dark secrets at a local convent. The film explores themes of guilt, silence, and the influence of the Catholic Church in a small Irish town.

Produced by Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Cillian Murphy, Small Things Like These promises a powerful narrative with great acting. It is also Cillian’s first film since Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer.
