SJ Suryah will be making his Malayalam debut with Fahadh Faasil in a film directed by Vipin Das. In a recent interview KumudamSuriya said he is excited to act with Fahadh and revealed how he became a fan of him after ‘Aavesham’. The actor will be seen in Dhanush’s second directorial venture ‘Raayan’. The Tamil film will release in theatres on July 26 amid massive anticipation.
In the interview, SJ Suryah said, “I am going to make my Malayalam debut with someone like Fahadh Faasil. It’s exciting to think about. I have enjoyed his acting in his earlier movies. But, I became a fan of his after ‘Aavesham’.”
SJ Suryah spoke about how much he liked Fahadh’s Ranga Annan character in the film. He also picked a scene during the pre-climax where he tries to hide his anger while talking to a young boy’s mother. He brought out Fahadh’s expressions through acting and said that he liked his little gestures.
On the work front, SJ Suryah was last seen in Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’. Though he got less screentime in the second part, he has a bigger role in ‘Indian 3’, which is likely to hit the theatres this weekend.
He is gearing up for the release of Nani’s ‘Saripodha Saanivaram’, which will hit theatres on August 29. Shankar’s ‘Game Changer’, director Vignesh Shivan’s ‘Love Insurance Corporation’ and Chiyaan Vikram’s ‘Veera Dheera Sooran’ are in the pipeline.
