Actor Ankit Sivach, who impressed fans with his role in ‘Kulla: The Legacy of the Risingghs’, recently shared his pride in playing the role of a soldier in Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming battle drama ‘120 Bahadur’. In a special interview with indiatoday.in, the actor expanded his role and how this ‘dream truth’ was for him to work on the project.

Talking about his role in the film, the actor admitted that he had revealed it and shared how it was deeply relevant in the present time, especially amid growing stress around India’s socio-political landscape.

“I am playing a soldier for the first time in my life and this is something I have dreamed. My deep respect and praise for the armed forces comes from my childhood, which grows in the merut cantonment. I first saw discipline and dedication with which our soldiers live. The actor said, “The fight holds a great importance in our history and was waiting for the story to be told and I am very happy that Excel Entertainment is doing this. The film stars Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC, who led 120 soldiers of Charlie Company during the Battle of Rejang La in 1962.

Sharing the details about the film, Sivach said, “The story is absolutely factual.
