Aamir Khan’s much awaited film Sitare is near its release. The fans are super excited to see this spiritual sequel for the 2007 hit star ground crosses. The film also stars Jenalia Deshmukh in an important role. Aamir recently opened a special cameo in the film and it is none other than his mother Zeenat Khan.
Yes, you heard that right! Aamir Khan’s 90 -year -old mother Sitare is making her acting debut with a cameo role in the ground. During a media conversation, the actor confirmed the same and shared how everything was unplanned. He also said that when his mother RS Prasanna agreed to be a part of the film, he was surprised.
Aamir shared a heartbreaking moment from the set of Sitare Zameen Paar, describing how his mother unexpectedly decided to meet him during a shoot. Despite never being interested in moving to film sets before, she surprised her one morning that she is expressing her desire to express her wish where she was making the film. The actor arranged for his sister to bring him to the place, and she reached the wheelchair during the shooting of a fun wedding song.
During the filming, Sitare land director RS Prasanna approached Aamir Khan with a hearty request. He urged him to ask if his mother could be a guest in the scene, as it was the last song and a festive moment. He was initially hesitant, if his mother agreed, he was uncertain, seeing a strong willpower nature. However, when he slowly approached him, he agreed to his surprise. She became part of some shots in the sequence of marriage, making it a really special memory for Aamir. He said, “This is my only film that she has ever been part.”
Meanwhile, not just her, but Aamir Khan’s sister is also part of the film. Talking about the same, he shared that he was working with his sister for the first time. However, as she is an actress, she admitted that she could work again in the future.
Sitare land crosses is actually a special film, as it has 10 neurodivargent actors: Arros Dutta, Gopi Krishna Verma, Samvit Desai, Vedanta Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman, Mishra, and Simran Mangeshar. It is set to hit theaters on June 20, 2025.
